Day 25: 6th August (Slovenia to Croatia)
Drove from Bled through Slovenia avoiding the toll roads. Pretty bad roads. Lovely countryside. Stopped on roadside on a high verge for lunch - hot, loads of butterflies. No issue at border crossing into Croatia (as we had been warned about). Adriatic coast stunning. Stayed in Krk - booked Camperstop Felix by e:mail. Lovely stop in owners back yard. Good W/cs/showers/wash up and washing machine. Lovely area to sit out - covered and could have meals there. Stayed 2 nights. Walked into Krk in the evening. Great little beach and play area with people having an evening swim. Lovely old walled town, twisty, narrow streets, all the shops open - very, very busy - couldn't move for people! Very hot 30 degrees+

Day 26: 7th August
Second night at Camperstop Felix. Chilled morning at camp. Got up at 6am - lovely and cool. Spent the day on Krk's rocky coast - jumping in sea. snorkelling, reading in the shade. Water beautiful and clear and turquoise. Had lunch from a beach cafe - traditional Cevappaci - like a kebab. Evening swim in Krk old town with Boosk.
