Etwa 80 km von der Provinzhauptstadt entfernt, befindet sich Santa Fé de Antioquia, die Mutterstadt der Paisa-Kultur.
Mit ihren weiß getünchten Häusern und der Holzschnitzkunst, die man
immer wieder an den Gebäuden wiederfindet, strahlt die Stadt einen
besonderen Charme aus

Im Herzen der Stadt befindet sich der Plaza Mayor mit einer Statue Simón
Bolívars, der „Catedral La Inmaculada“ sowie weiteren
geschichtsträchtigen Häusern. Neben einer Kirche mit schöner
Barockfassade, sowie interessanten Museen, zieht Santa Fé Besucher an,
die die gigantische, einzigartige Stahlseilhängebrücke „Puente Colgante
de Occidente“ (Brücke des Westens) bewundern möchten
