The long Promenade des Anglais stretches all the way along the seafront of the Baie des Anges. The beach may be pebbly, but the path is smooth, making this a great place for cycling or, if you’re feeling adventurous, rollerblading. Watch out for the Art Deco façade of the Palais de la Méditerranée, a former flamboyant casino that today functions as a hotel.
